NALANI NICKLES

The Design Culture Now poster is a staple graphic design school project as an exercise in typographic hierarchy. One of the constraints of the project was that only standard type characters could be used in the design. Hierarchy was achieved through variations in placement, color, size, and typestyles within type families. To add interest, I tipped everything at an angle and created a cheerful background using various punctuation marks.
